Muskoka Wedding Photography

Cassandra + Jesse

Continuing on the blogging of some past 2013 weddings....

Cassandra & Jesse live in Montreal but were married at the amazing The Ridge at Manitou in Ontario's Muskoka region.  It was an amazing (but hot!) day as they were surrounded by their family and friends for an amazing ceremony on the waters edge.

Check out some of my favourite wedding images up top and their full slideshow down below!

Steamwhistle Wedding Photography

Kelly + Mike

With the switch over to the new website and blog I thought I'd use some of my downtime this winter (although I seem pretty busy this year!) to reblog some of my favourite weddings from the past couple years... So here is Kelly + Mike's amazing wedding at the SteamWhistle Brewery in downtown Toronto.

The wedding was super relaxed from everyone chipping in making centrepieces; the mom's making all the cookies for the midnight table, the boys playing video games in the hotel suite and then walking over to Steam Whistle... Funny story, ComiCon was going on that day so the guys in their tuxes were mistaken for being dressed up as Men in Black during the walk over!  All in all, a really relaxed vibe throughout the day.

Kelly and Mike wanted very few posed pictures (I actually had to talk them into doing a few more!) so it allowed me to focus on what I love... capturing great moments!  One of the best was when Mike played guitar while Kelly danced with her dad.

Check out the gallery of pics above as well as their full wedding slideshow below!

Fuji X Pro 1 Wedding

Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory  Wedding

I had the chance to run the X Pro 1 through a real wedding that I second shot with Ben Benvie at the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory a couple weeks ago!

It was the perfect chance to try out the Fuji exclusively since it was a small wedding that Ben could handle on his own no problem, giving me free reign to just see how the camera would do in an actual wedding.

Overall, it was pretty good.   The AF let me down a few times, but probably no more than the number of times my Nikon's would... just in different situations.   Check out my review of the X PRO 1 here for more thoughts on the camera.

Here are a few images from the day!
