Just finished up the design of Breana + Tania's wedding album from there fall wedding up in Collingwood, Ontario at the Tremont Cafe.

Every one of my couples now gets's a custom designed wedding album as part of the standard wedding commission.  I want everyone to have something physical... something permanent.  I don't think our memories should be trusted to a bunch of one's and zero's on a DVD somewhere in desk drawer.  Photographs are meant to picked up, held and passed around... what better way to do this than a bespoke wedding album.  

Don't let your pictures grow up to be JPG's.  :)

Sarah, a past bride of mine, contacted me about getting some family pictures done with her sisters as a nice christmas present for her mom.

So today we braved the cold and snow (but not too far or too long!) and got some great pictures.  We even managed to convince her husband Phil to be in a few!

Eddie Adams

Got this quote from the documentary 'An Unlikely Weapon:  The Eddie Adams Story' on Netflix.  Great movie, you should check it out!

Besides being a Pulitzer winning photographer, Eddie went on to found one of the premier photography workshops in the world aptly named 'Eddie Adams Workshop'... it will be one of my big regrets that I can never get the chance to attend the workshop (only for students and those just starting their careers) as it's supposed to be amazing.

Cambridge Mill Wedding Photography

Had the chance to second shoot for Aron Goss of Calculated Style Photography for Courtney + Mark's wedding at the Cambridge Mill!  

Even with the rain it was a great day.  I even wound up driving the wedding cake  in from Milton after we discovered that it was too big to fit in any of the guys cars!  Courtney + Mark had their ceremony in Cambridge Mills amazing outdoor chapel which was a first for me!
